In the time honored tradition of the MTV Music and Movie Awards, I would liek to propose we have the 1st annual Pygmy Island Poster Awards (lets go from Jan 1,
2008 to Dec. 31, 2008). Here are some catagories to start of with:
-Best All Around Pygmy
-Most Insightful Poster
-Poster who makes each of us a little bit MORE ignorant with every post of theirs we have the misfortune of reading
-Most helpful poster to our quest to get at the inner workings of reality TV
-Pygmy with most inside info on casting but hordes it while happily gathering everyone else's info
-Funniest Poster
-Poster who thinks they are Funny but is not
-Nicest Poster
-Most Annoying Poster
-Most Obnoxious Poster
-Top Pygmy cast on a reality show
-Favorite Pygmy rookie
-Favorite Pygmy old timer
-Sexiest Pygmy (Male and Female)
-Least Sexy Pygmy (Male and Female)
-Pygmy whose posts I most look forward to reading
-Pygmy whose posts I always skip, even if it throws off the whole continuity of the thread by skipping it
-Most Whiny Pygmy
-Favorite Pygmy who doesn't post anymore
-Pygmy you wish wouldn't post anymore
-Pygmy I would most want to be friends with in "real life"
-Pygmy I would cross the street to avoid if I stumbled upon them in "real life"
-Top poster from another forum (sucks, etc.) I wish posted at P.I.
-Most trustwrthy Pygmy
-Least trustworthy Pygmy
-Pygmy with best chance to actually get cast
-Pygmy who is deluding themselves if they think they ever have a chance of being cast
-Best Pygmy showing in a Survivor ORG this past year
Let me know if you guys want to do this and whether you want to add or remove any catagories. If we go for it, I'll post a final list of catagories and then we can start voting. Should I make 5 nominies for each catagory or let the voting be a free for all? I think all catagories should be up to personal interpretation. I made the vague on purpose (example-sexy could be their writing or their personality or their sweet boobies in the front row at the S17 finale) Also, I think everyone should attempt to spread their votes around thoughtfully. Don't just vote your PI enemy for all the negative ones and your BFF for all the positive ones. That would just be stupid and sucky. Also, should we be allowed to vote for ourselves? I am thinking no.
P.S. for all of you that are invariably going to bitch about the negative catagories-grow up. Every kid does not deserve a trophy just for participation................
