Maybe Coach is that guy JP always talks about finding. The guy who lies about himself from beginning to end without being detected by the other players. It
really is scary to think that someone like that could actually be coaching. I also think it is interesting that no one has the guts to call him out. JT and
friends are giving new meaning to flying under the radar. Taj and her 4 way alliance is shot since Sierra was obviously a target too.

Dang, I completely missed last week's eppy due to a high and painful work load. I get the feeling this was not the show to miss this season. On the bright
side I didn't miss seeing coach get voted out.

You can view missed episodes on the CBS site, and the commercial breaks are much shorter (although you have to see the same one 17 times).
This was the best move for JT & Stephen to make. By taking Brendan out with the idol, they got two out for one vote, and Brendan is clearly a bigger challenge threat than Mr. Amazon Buns. I think Erin's vote is with them, and if necessary they could probably flip Sierra on the Coach alliance if necessary. I think some of you are allowing your distaste for coach to affect your strategic assessment. And frankly, Coach is far more interesting television than Brendan. Won't it be fun to watch the Dragon Slayer become the decapitee? |

I think we will only have a couple of more episodes of Coach's antics before he gets served his blindside. No way will he make the finals 2.

I did that in 2007 worked my ass off all summer. Now they are trying to boot me off the Island. Fat chance. It's unusually cold here we haven't even
hit a 100 yet and its the middle of summer. Maybe hell will freeze over and Coach wins. You know how it works the person that makes all the strategic moves
loses and some dope wins because they can stand on a post for 6 hours.

The only way for JT to win will be to win challenges. Thats it. Everyone knows people like him and that will be his downfall. Always is. I see Taj winning the
whole thing with Stephen in second. We shall see.

I absolutely enjoyed last week's episode. Coach is one of the funniest characters I have ever seen. It doesn't mean I like him, I just think he is
entertaining because he is such an ass. As far as JT and Stephen going in the direction they did. I absolutely think it was the best move they could do. They
rid themselves of an immunity threat and a power player. We forget how much these guys know about each other. Who knows how Brendan described himself. Tyson
did say he wanted to beat the high faluting corporate builder. So if Brendan had been talking about how he builds up companies I am sure someone must have
asked him what companies, and if he said Bear Naked, then I am sure JT and the others thought to themselves, hmmm he seems to do pretty well for himself. Coach
and Tyson will most likely suffer excellent blindsides with the edits they are getting. Remember, the more they look like asses, the more entertaining their
boots will be, I wouldn't be surprised if they one of them is out this week.

I saw Brendan's EW interview and he said he did not tell his tribe about Bare Naked. They already knew before they got there. They probably saw it leaked
somewhere online or the Producers spilled the beans hoping to create conflict. Most likely they looked it up online though.

I look forward to Coach's "loved one" visit. I will be pulling for him to win that just to see what kind of asshole puts up with him voluntarily.
They can vote him out afterwards.

facoweetribe wrote:I know this was from last week, but wanted to comment on it anyway. I think JT and Stephen, Stephen in particular, know that they don't have to call himself out because this is a classic case of just handing someone the noose and the rope and them hanging themselves. Coach doesn't have to be called out, because he basically calls himself out. And Jeff calls him out too.
I have really enjoyed the last two episodes and I think the editing has been excellent. The only knock I have on this season is Jeff Probst himself... if he hadn't of said in the pre-season interviews anything about blindsides, this would be a much better and more unpredictable season. But I go into every episode now expecting a blindside, so once they started showing Tyson telling Sierra that she would be going home next, I knew that she wouldn't at then as the show progressed I figured it would be Tyson. Was it the right move? Hell yeah. JT and Stephen needed to get rid of him... Only problem is, is JT looks like to be the strongest one there now, so he might of just put the target on his back.. did anyone notice how they had the voice over of someone saying JT, "is so fast" during one of the challenges? Clue for next week I believe.. JT better start packing his bags.. I think Stephen is the one that wins this whole thing. All Taj does is bite her fingernails and rock back and forth like she is a mental hospital and says, "If you can get the numbers I will vote that way" then Stephen goes and rallies JT and others to do what he had suggested. At least if you asked me, I would award Stephen the purse right now. I think he has played the smartest game and I think he is the subtle Godfather right now, he just knows how to convince JT and Taj what to do.

I think you give Stephen way too much credit. He and JT are BFF, they spend alot of time together, obviously they have had the conversation before about
getting rid of Tyson. JT gets credit for that too, he's not a dumb hillbilly, he and Stephen seem to be making decisions together. They show Stephen
pitching the play to Taj and Erinn and then to JT, but I don't buy it. The pitch was too rehearsed. I don't think that Stephen is the mastermind, I
think he and JT are yin and yang, they balance each other to play an excellent game together at least this far.
Also, I was not feeling the Erinn love so much last night. Ultimately she made a good choice, but she was really getting on my nerves at one point. On the other hand, why does everyone seem to hate Sierra? Evan JT said I hate that bitch or something like that. She must not be as fabulous as the edit makes her out to be, kinda like Sugar last season. Little Miss Freakin' Sunshine |

Thats funny Ms. Clause. Fabuloso edit I bet.
I agree about Stephen. JT is thinking and those 2 are together but I still think TAJ is setting herself up to be in the final 3. Why? because she is sitting back and letting the others run around and be King of the hill. Coah and Debbie or now on the chopping block. Easy vote offs but as this season has shown, there are no easy voe offs now. things change. I can see the next couple weeks going along as planned, than once we get down to the 5 of Sierra, Erin Taj, Stephen and JT things will change. I put them in the order I think they will fall. JT being first and so on. The only that could change things are II. That always throws a wrinkle in somewhere. Now the question becomes, does Sierra just smack coach back in the mouth like he did to her? or does she play for his vote at the end? Coach is all high and mighty, sucks at challenges, voted off a warrior when he said he wanted to change the game to have strong players make it to the end yet considers himself a great warrior who has honor and integrity? Does that mean he accepts his fate now? All this and more on the next SURVIVOR. (cue music)

So all the guys (except Tyson) felt confident enough to sit out the challenge and eat. They act like the girls are just there to help them get to the end. I
would point out that sh** and create an all girl alliance right now. None of those girls can win against JT or Stephen, so why keep them around.

Veruca Salt wrote:I agree with you totally on this Veruca. I was screaming at the TV for Sierra to make sure she pointed that out to all the peeps that did participate. I think they really dwelled a lot on the Coach/Sierra relationship not only because Coach looks like a complete dumbass, but also for insight into the next episode when it is Coach begging Sierra for help. Ms. Clause wrote:Maybe I am giving him too much credit or maybe I have fallen for the edit. I just feel/think that Stephen is getting the edit as the thinker among the group. But you could be very right. They spent some time in the beginning of the season setting up the old city boy/hick relationship. You have some very good points. I think Erinn or Sierra will be there at the end if not just for the fact that people will feel like no one will vote for them. Just like a Sugar. You hit that on the head. |

Good bye my poor Tyson. Not that I thought you would win but dude you got smacked down too early!
Sierra must be a real downer at camp. Smile Sierra, and the world smiles with you! Might be the Fish man and JT that make it to the end. Both won't be able to make a good case for themselves. Any other third person still in the game (exept coach) will make a better case to the jury. |
