Golly gee cuon thanks...

The weekend was a lot of fun, we didn't have much time to breathe, at least I didn't... I flew in on Saturday and LP and I met up at the airport a couple of hours later than we expected. That's when we realized that Scott and I would really suck on Amazing Race. I had called the hotel ahead of time and they said they had a shuttle that ran from the airport to the hotel, so we hopped aboard happy as clams that we wouldn't be spending any $$$.. well duh there are two Renassaince Hotels in LA and we got shuttled to the wrong one! We had to take a cab from there and it was like a 45-minute ride and an expensive taxi ride. But we finally arrived at the hotel at around 2:30.. then we couldn't check in until 4.. then it was 4:30.. but we were able to rendezvous while waiting with DGT.. after getting some grub of course.. that seemed like the one common thread throughout the weekend.. Me being fucking hungry.. hahaha... Nota and SW were out having fun with celebs at Universal and Wannabe was looking smoking hot somewhere where all the pretty people go. We finally got our room and we went up, cleaned up, and went down to the lobby for drinks. We ran into Randy and had our first introductions. It's nice not to have something feel like first introductions. We snapped some photos, I think that shot of us was of that night. We had beers, met some of the others from Gabon courtesy of Randy and things just fell into relaxation mode.

We ended up going to a bar where there were many ex-Survivor folks and even some folks from other reality shows.

That was pretty much how the weekend went. Eat. Beer. Bar. Sleep (for a short time) Rinse and Repeat.

Sunday we got to the studio fairly early as we were bussed over there from the hotel. The studio looked awesome. At one time it was pretty cool, I had gone to the men's room.. and when I came out we passed a giant room off the studio.. it had a ton of props from past reunion shows, The show logos, props, etc. pretty cool. During the show Lynn Spillman did come around to say hello to LP, SW and the rest of us. My favorite moment came a little while later when she tripped on my feet.. hahaha... I guess I had to try to get her attention somehow.. she just stumbled and looked and laughed. The show was great. Just a great experience altogether. Afterwards we went over to a bar that a lot of past Survivors were at and some of the Gaboners did attend. I also ran into Keenan Thompson, a comedian from Saturday Night Live. More Beer.. More beer.. LP dancing.. More beer.. LP dancing some more.. young women gyrating like strippers (!) thought to myself "I am glad I have boys" and "Man, I am getting old" because they were dressed like 80's punk. I think I might of did some jigs, but I left my river dancing for another night.

Back to the hotel.. sleep and then LAX, Newark.. New Hampshire back home again. Long long day.. everything was over in the blink of an eye.

A great time though.. it felt like a week at the time, but now of course it felt too quick.
