The Daisy Blocks can wait no more. This week they will be installed in the yard. Four Daisy Blocks interlocked together make a fine 1.75' x 1.75' base just perfect to support the potted hibiscus trees that get dragged outside during the warm months of the year. What is the general feeling on Pygmy Island about editing posts and also what are some of your personal feeings. To me at best edited posts are a nusense that make trying to catch up on threads when you've been away for a day or two more difficult and at worst they are an act of cowardice by anonymous typers who don't have...

My main objections to the death penalty are:

1. Jurors decide guilt beyond a "reasonable" doubt. That's not the same as "without any measure of" doubt, which should be the standard ruler used to determine the fates of those facing the ultimate sentence. Reasonable leaves room for errors. If we can't decide by a perfect standard we shouldn't proclaim that perfect final punishment.

2. Public defenders are not always in it to win. I personally believe that...
